The auditorium for St. Xavier's College, Maitighar has been designed to function either as a standard auditorium or, when needed, a sports hall for indoor sports such as table tennis and badminton. Folded plate concrete roof used in its construction is not only cost effective but also enhances the aesthetics of the building while maintaining the acoustics of the hall. The St. Xavier's auditorium is the only of it's kind that uses high-tech structure and perhaps the only concrete roof auditorium in the entire country.
